RBJ's participates in Marketplace for Entrepreneurs February 11, 2004
Becky Cournia, Marketing Coordinator for RBJ's, was a co-presenter at the recent Marketplace for Entrepreneurs in Grand Forks, ND in January. The seminar, "Getting The Most From a Trade Show: Tips & Techniques", highlighted many ideas for small businesses to help them succeed, whether they have attended shows before or they are just starting out. Topics included how to find out about shows and the registration process, setting up and displaying products, as well as selling and customer relations. "Many of us have experienced the highs and lows of trade shows and this was a great opportunity to help other businesses learn the ropes. It was a wonderful experience sharing what I have learned. The many questions and great responses from attendees made it even better!"
Marketplace seeks to empower individuals and communities to pursue their individual economic development visions by providing information, ideas and assistance. The process of people sharing information and ideas, once set in motion, now continues throughout the year in several different forms.
